Early Entry

School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering offers an

Early Entry Program

- take the stress out of the HSC - Guaranteed places available before HSC Examinations

We realise that the UAI is not the only indication of your aptitude to excel in an engineering career. The Early Entry Program offered by the School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering (SECTE) enables potential students to visit the campus between late August and early October to discuss career options with academic staff in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff will present an overview of the courses offered and career opportunities available to graduates. Part of the interview process will involve a tour of SECTE and the opportunity to meet other members of staff and students. HSC Trial results and resumes/portfolios must be presented at the interview. Offers are made on the basis of the interview and results but you still need to apply for University entry through UAC (Universities Admission Centre.)

We will be interviewing current Year 12 students as indicated above for the:

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering

(double degrees with Arts, Commerce, Mathematics and Science also available)

So if you want to take the stress out of the HSC; are studying HSC Mathematics Ext.1 or HSC Mathematics Ext. 2 or Mathematics (at a satisfactory level) and Physics; and would like to be considered for a guaranteed place in one of the above dynamic degree programs, please contact:
